Lawrence Litman graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and has worked in the healthcare industry for 30+ years. He began in public accounting, auditing skilled nursing facilities, medical clinics and physician offices. He then spent six years with Life Care Centers of America as Regional Controller, Reimbursement Specialist and Division Director of Managed Care, and two years at Therapy Network, LLC, helping its clients with the transition from Medicare to managed care pricing.

As president and sole proprietor, he has run Healthcare Systems & Services for the past 15 years: a financial consulting group for skilled nursing facilities, continuing care retirement communities and hospice organizations. The firm works with a large number of operators, improving their financial performance with specialized cost analysis tools and reports. Larry worked on the committee that developed the Medicaid cost report for Arizona, works closely with the Arizona Health Care Association to maintain and increase long-term care rates in Arizona’s managed-care market, and was named Business Affiliate of the Year for 2007.

Tyler Litman graduated from Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and a Bachelor of Science in computer science. While studying, he worked as a technology support technician for the ASU Help Center and, for Healthcare Systems & Services, automated monthly tasks, brought server and network operations in house, maintained databases and wrote data mining programs. He also helped prepare federal and state cost reports, monthly financials and patient detail reporting.

Since 2013 he has worked full time at Healthcare Systems & Services, preparing financials, monthly reports and federal and state cost reports. He also maintains the firm’s internal and external technology and looks for new ways to improve productivity and reporting with emerging technology.
